My name is Marlene. In 2020, after the birth of my second child, I started making breast milk jewellery. I have used my experience (over 10 years) in making handmade jewellery from different materials. Since then, I have developed a lot technically and creatively, which led to the founding of Makidy Mother's Milk Jewellery in January 2021. Since then, I have dedicated myself exclusively to making these wonderful memories, the creation of which is not only my profession, but also my passion.
I have been living in Berlin for 14 years, originally I come from Seville, which is in Andalusia (southern Spain).
I started making jewellery from various materials 15 years ago. Handicrafts are my great passion.
I am also a mum of 2, after the birth of my first daughter ( 2017) I had a great desire to have my own breastmilk jewellery.
For me, breastfeeding and bonding with my daughter was simply indescribable, the most beautiful and pure thing I had ever experienced in my life. I didn't want this feeling, the whole breastfeeding experience to fade with time. With the birth of my son (2020) and a new and proper milk shot, I specialised in breast milk jewellery and founded Makidy Breast Milk Jewellery.
Since then, I have been allowed to process your breast milk and other natural materials into high-quality breast milk jewellery. The name MaKiDy was created from the initials of my children and me as a symbol for the bond between mother and child.
I have had two long breastfeeding sessions and know how emotional and personal this jewellery is to you and will personalise it for you with the appropriate love, attention and patience.
